Global Lounge @ The Nook

A relaxed weekly drop-in space every Wednesday where students can meet new people, enjoy snacks and conversation, and connect across cultures at The Nook.

Whether you’re new to campus, feeling a little shy, or simply curious about other cultures, everyone is welcome.

About the Global Lounge

The Global Lounge is a friendly, drop-in space designed to help students meet new people, spark conversations, and build a sense of belonging at Warwick.
The Lounge brings together home and international students in a relaxed environment with free drinks, snacks, and guided ice-breaker activities.

Who is it for?

The Global Lounge is perfect for students who:

  • Want to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds

  • Prefer low-pressure, friendly social spaces

  • Are interested in conversation, culture, or language exchange

What to expect

Each session includes:

  • Free drinks and snacks

  • Casual conversations with students from around the world

  • Guided ice-breaker activities to help everyone feel at ease

  • A main activity or theme

Join us every Wednesday from 2–4pm at the Nook throughout term time.
