Get hands-on this summer with artist Benny Semp and learn how to make simple, creative paper lanterns for the Global Illuminations Procession — a spectacular part of Warwick’s 60th Anniversary celebrations in November 2025.

In this relaxed workshop, you’ll create your own lantern and explore ways to personalise it with designs that reflect identity, culture, or creativity. You’ll also pick up the skills and inspiration to run your own lantern-making sessions with students, of with your family next term — a great way to involve them in this university-wide celebration.

Come along and help light up Warwick’s 60th with your unique contribution.

Sport Drop-In with Warwick Sport

Take a break, get active, and have some fun! Warwick Sport is coming to central campus for a casual drop-in session on the FAB Lawn.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just want to try something new, everyone is welcome. We’ll have a mix of ad hoc sports and games—just show up, get involved, and enjoy the fresh air.

No need to book– just drop in and play!

It’s a great way to de-stress, meet new people, and get moving between sessions.

Finding a job in a country other than your home or study country can feel overwhelming but with the right strategies and knowledge, it’s achievable.

In this workshop, we will explore:

Key steps to securing employment abroad, including researching international job markets, tailoring CVs and cover letters.
Understanding employer expectations
Leveraging professional networks.

We will also address common challenges such as visa processes, cultural differences in recruitment, and showcasing transferable skills to stand out in a competitive global job market.
