Community Safety
Overview
Campus Security has recently re-launched as the Community Safety team. Our primary duty is to protect the safety and wellbeing of every student, member of staff and visitor of the University of Warwick. We provide a 24 hour service, 365 days a year, offering first aid, wellbeing support, crime prevention, emergency response and a variety of other immediate services.
We work very closely with the Students Union, Student Support Services and Academic departments to ensure that all students are well looked after and can freely enjoy their experience at Warwick by feeling safe and secure while on campus.
Beyond that, the Community Safety team assists with events on campus by helping students to organise lectures and debates with high profile speakers, plan large scale society events and managing university events such as open days and graduations.
Community Safety also give advice on holding outdoor events including sporting competitions, safe gatherings on campus, student lead conferences and any other major event that involves campus wide logistics.
