We are currently scheduling a programme of in-person and online events for Welcome Week 2021 (Monday 27 September - Sunday 4 October).
The timetable will be live in September. You can find more information on our FAQs page.
During Welcome Week, we run a fantastic programme of events and activities in partnership with the Students' Union, designed to help you settle in, make friends and adapt to life at Warwick. Alongside our programme for all new students, this year there will also be activities for returning students.
We'll publish a timetable of events in mid September. For now here's an overview of the kind of the things you can expect to see.
These are the sessions where you'll find out more about your course, your classmates and teachers. We design Welcome Week to make sure that these sessions don't clash with anything else, so you're never torn between a social and the classroom.
All Undergraduate and many Postgraduate courses offer some form of Academic Induction in Welcome Week.
Our dedicated Warwick Sport team work directly with all of the student Sports Clubs on campus to provide a variety of taster activities for you to join in. Whether you're looking to beat your personal best, try something new, get competitive or stay active, there'll be something for you.
One of the things we're proudest of at Warwick is our federation of over 250 incredibly creative student Societies, who've been hard at work finding innovative ways to carry on their activities and reach new members during the pandemic. With a mix of sessions covering everything from campaigning to Quidditch, we're confident there'll be plenty of opportunities for you to make new friends, find new hobbies.
Details of your Union's programme are still being finalised, but once they are available, you’ll be able to get tickets to these events from the SU website.
You can access a 360 virtual tour of campus right now, and our veteran Welcome Helpers will also be on hand to show you around our campus in-person during Welcome Week.
Help, advice and study support
Colleagues from Wellbeing Support, the Library, Careers and Skills, the Chaplaincy, Accommodation, Residential Life, and many other departments will be available throughout Welcome Week with many departments running special sessions, including our Living at University Fair, which will take place in-person and online.
Our team of student Helpers will also be running our usual Information Point throughout the week to help you find your way.
