Campus Security’s primary duty is to protect the safety and wellbeing of every student, member of staff and visitor of the University of Warwick. We provide a 24 hour service, 365 days a year, offering first aid, wellbeing support, crime prevention, emergency response and a variety of other immediate services.
We work very closely with the Students Union, Student Support Services and Academic departments to ensure that all students are well looked after and can freely enjoy their experience at Warwick by feeling safe and secure while on campus.
Beyond that, Campus Security assists with events on campus by helping students to organise lectures and debates with high profile speakers, plan large scale society events and managing university events such as open days and graduations.
Campus security also give advice on holding outdoor events including sporting competitions, safe gatherings on campus, student lead conferences and any other major event that involves campus wide logistics.

Campus Security in Welcome Week and beyond
We will be having a drop in live chat session for students to ask questions about Campus Security and what support we offer. We will also be offering private 1on1 conversations if any students would like to ask us questions on more sensitive topics. These will be entirely confidential and we will be running them throughout the first term.
