This is your Welcome Week Timetable. It works on mobile and on desktop in your browser and has a section in the My Warwick app.
We recommend downloading the My Warwick app and keeping the timetable logged-in in your browser during Welcome Week so you can easily check and edit your timetable and scan in at sessions where you see a registration QR code.
The app will also send you reminders about events that you are booked to attend.
When you first log in, you'll see a list of events that require you to choose a date and time. This includes a 'Right to Study' check if you're an international student and things like our Sports and Societies Fairs and welcome talks.
Everything else that you have to attend in Welcome Week, including sessions from your course, will have been added to your timetable for you.
At the top, you'll also see highlighted events that are open to everyone.
You can change the view of the Timetable to week, day, or agenda, and you can also see a list of hundreds of other optional events, from careers to canoeing, listed in relevant categories.
There are tons of opportunities to focus on your personal development and start making friends through our Sports Clubs and Societies.
You can search for what you're looking for or filter events by day of the week or the kind activity on offer.
Most events are free, but some may require additional ticket booking or may cost you to attend. The timetable will tell you if this is the case.
If an event is full, you can choose to join a waiting list. Spaces are limited at many events, so if you change your mind after booking an event, please remember to cancel your booking.
From the timetable homepage, you can also find your Welcome Checklist.
Here you can see a total number of items available for you to review and complete and a key which indicates whether or not an item should be completed in person or online via a website.
If an item has a deadline this will be displayed in the right hand side.
If an item can still be completed even after the deadline has passed, you may see an overdue notice alongside the item. However, if an item can't be completed after the deadline, it will be moved into your expired queue at the bottom of the screen once the deadline has passed.
To see more information about any item, simply click on the item title.
Many items will offer you the opportunity to take an action from the item itself, such as this one, which enables me to complete the sustainability induction directly from here. Once I've completed that induction, I can return to this screen and mark the item as completed. If you complete an item by accident, you can return to your completed queue and undo that action from any completed item.
Some items can also be dismissed if they're not relevant to you. If you see this button on an item, you can mark it as irrelevant and it will be moved into your 'not relevant' queue. Again, you can later return to that item and undo that action if you do it by accident.
New items may be added between now and the end of Welcome Week and those will be indicated by a 'new' icon alongside the item title.
If you have any problems using our timetable or checklist, please get in touch via our contact form or speak to a Welcome Helper during Welcome Week.
We hope you have a fantastic first week here. Welcome to Warwick!
