I recieved a first class Bsc (Hons) degree in Zoology from Newcastle University.

July –September 2015 Summer Studentship in Biological control of Myzus persicae. Over the summer I completed a fully funded research project investigating interactions between fungal biological control of the peach potato aphid and the predatory behaviour of the 2-spotted ladybird. This involved designing and creating testing arenas and observing behaviour of the organisms involved. This was followed by statistical analysis and consideration of future implementation in sustainable biological control. I produced a scientific poster which was displayed at an evening celebrating research scholarships & expeditions in November 2015 where staff, members of the public and other students asked questions regarding my research.
