Module Syllabi
The Warwick International Foundation Programme (Warwick IFP) comprises distinct academic courses designed to enable progression to a wide range of undergraduate programmes at Warwick and other UK institutions. The 10 pathways offered provide the opportunity for greater specialisation and content that is tailored to each discipline area.
Students are taught through the medium of tutorials, seminars and lectures, and encouraged to develop independent learning strategies and critical thinking skills.
Below you will find links to our module catalogue, which contains full details of the modules available to students on each course. Every student will study between 4-6 academic modules (some full year, some part year) to include Inquiry and Research Skills and an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) module, both tailored and relevant to their individual pathway.
2025-26 update
- Our programme structure remains largely the same as 2024-25 academic year. The only courses not running in 2025-26 is Arts and Humanities and Biological Science IFP, due to low enrolment numbers. The Social Sciences course will be running this year. Students were given the option to transfer to either the Law IFP, or Social Science IFP depending on their progression goals.
- Our students will commence their academic studies on 06 October 2025, after one week of Welcome and Induction activities in the previous week.
- We continue to only deliver our programme face to face, on-campus

- EAP modules: Our EAP modules are now accepted as a valid English Language Test by many of our partner institutions and we received BALEAP accreditation for the programme in April 2021 and were re-accredited in March 2025. Further guidance about EAP modules is available in our EAP Information GuideLink opens in a new window.
- The Essential Mathematics module is equivalent to higher level GCSE-level Maths. All other Mathematics modules are equivalent to A-level standard Maths.
