English Language

If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide evidence of an English language qualification to demonstrate your ability. This could be an IELTS or TOEFL examination, for example. Undergraduate Courses

For applicants studying STPM, this is considered with comparable grades to A level. Diplomas with very high grades may be accepted by certain departments. We do not currently accept the College Foundation programmes or the Malaysian Matriculation. For English language the 1119 qualification is accepted if conducted by the UCLES board usually with a minimum grade B or C.

For applicants who have studied the Senior Unified Examination Certificate and wish to apply for Humanities or Social Science undergraduate courses, we would need you to complete a foundation programme, such as the Warwick International Foundation Programme.

For applicants who wish to apply to our Faculty of Science, Engineering or Medicine undergraduate courses and have studied the Senior Unified Examination Certificate, our minimum requirements are stated below including any subject requirements.

Postgraduate Courses

For applicants looking to apply to our Postgraduate Taught or Research degrees, we typically require:
