The University of Warwick is a popular destination for Norwegian students choosing to study overseas. We welcome applications for our Foundation, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research courses. English Language

If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide evidence of an English language qualification to demonstrate your ability. This could be an IELTS or TOEFL examination, for example. You can find further information here, including the minimum requirements.

Warwick International Foundation Programme (IFP): High school qualification is considered for entry.

Undergraduate: Typically we require the Vitnemal-Videregaende Opplaering. Please see below the grade equivalencies:

AAB VVO with an average of 4.5 in the common core subjects and grades 5 and 5 in two relevant final year subjects
ABB VVO with an average of 4.5 in the common core subjects and grades 5 and 4 in two relevant final year subjects

Postgraduate
: For Postgraduate Taught degrees, we can accept the Bachelorgrad, Candidatus/a Magisteril (cand.mag), Sivilingeniør (siv.ing) (Engineering degree), Siviløkonom (siv. øk.). All of these degrees are equivalent to a UK Bachelor's Degree with Honours.

For entry onto our Postgraduate Research degrees, we typically require the Magister Artium (mag. art.), Mastergrad or the Candidatus Realium / Candidatus Philologiae. These qualifications are equivalent to a UK Masters Degree.
