I also considered Kings college London, University Of Manchester, University Of Bristol and Queens Mary

When you found out about Warwick, did you contact the University to find out more? Which department?

I contacted the Business department, and accommodation department

Do you have any feedback on the service, advice or overall experience of working with the agent?

I’ve had a positive experience working with the agent. The guidance and support provided were helpful and made the process of applying and preparing for Warwick much smoother. The agent was responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer any questions I had.

Was your arrival and orientation okay? What were your first impressions/highlights?

yes, my arrival and orientation at Warwick were smooth and well-organized. From the moment I arrived on campus, the staff and student volunteers were welcoming and helpful, making sure I knew where to go and what to do. The orientation program was comprehensive, covering everything from campus tours to academic briefings, which really helped me settle in quickly.

What is the best thing about Warwick?

Warwick provided me with countless opportunities to attend events, network, and fully engage with the campus community. The supportive environment and the diverse, multicultural student body made it easy to connect with others and create lasting friendships. I’m grateful to Warwick for offering me these opportunities, which have significantly enriched my university experience.

What is the worst thing about Warwick?

Nothing was worst, but the pattern of studies is different from my home countries, Warwick focuses more on practical aspects of the modules, unlike my home country where they understand modules deep through theoretical knowledge.

What are your impressions of your accommodation? Is this on campus/off campus?

I stayed at The Oaks, which is off campus but part of Warwick, the service was top notch, and never faced any issue, it was fully secured and safety was prioritized there. altogether a nice experience

Are you a member of any societies? If so, what have you done with them?

My time at Warwick has been truly incredible, and one of the highlights has been my involvement with Warwick Volunteers. Through this program, I had the chance to help local students, visit venues near campus, and meet some amazing people. These experiences not only allowed me to give back to the community but also helped me develop valuable skills and connections.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I’ve been actively engaged with Warwick’s career team. They have been instrumental in helping me refine my CV and applications, offering valuable advice and support as I navigate the job market. Currently, I’m on the lookout for an entry-level job, and the career team continues to provide guidance as I take this next step.

If you were giving advice to a student considering study at Warwick, what advice would you give them?

1. Embrace the Opportunities:
Warwick offers a wealth of opportunities beyond academics, from volunteering programs to networking events and societies. Make the most of these experiences—they’re a great way to meet new people, develop skills, and explore your interests.

2. Connect with the Career Team Early:
The career team at Warwick is a fantastic resource. Start engaging with them early in your studies to refine your CV, practice interview skills, and explore career options. Their guidance can be invaluable as you prepare for life after university.

3. Get Involved in Campus Life:
Warwick has a vibrant and diverse student community, with over 250 societies and clubs. Joining these groups not only enhances your university experience but also helps you build friendships and networks that can last a lifetime.

What one thing makes you happy about Warwick?

One thing that makes me happiest about Warwick is the strong sense of community. Whether it's the friendships I've formed, the support from faculty and staff, or the inclusive and diverse student body, being part of this vibrant, global community has made my time at Warwick truly special. It's a place where you feel connected, supported, and inspired every day.
