How did you find out about Warwick?

I heard about Warwick from my friends and family.

Did you consider studying anywhere else? What made you choose Warwick?

I considered universities across UK, but my friends and family who graduated Warwick gave me a really positive feedback, making my choice easier; this, coupled with further research about universities, strengthened my aspiration to come to Warwick.

Did you have any interactions with Warwick prior to starting your course?

While attending study abroad events, I met representatives from Warwick. They were extremely helpful and warm.

How was your arrival? What were your first impressions of campus?

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a lot of warmth. I e-met Warwick Indian Society Executive Committee and Mr. Amarjeet Mutneja before flying, and they were kind enough to provide all the guidance I needed. Additionally, the Global Connections Community made my first week at Warwick extremely engaging!

What is the best thing about Warwick?

The best thing about Warwick is the community - be it staff, students or alumni, everyone is willing and happy to help! Also, the societies keep you engaged and help you grow as they offer so many opportunities!

What is the worst thing?

Even in the times of Covid-19, I could not fault Warwick. It says a lot about the institution and its well-deserved reputation.

How is your accommodation?

I lived at Lakeside and loved the place! My flatmates were very nice and I had a great time!

Are you a member of any societies?

I was the Post-Graduate Representative for Warwick Indian SocietyLink opens in a new window, Warwick India ForumLink opens in a new window and Indian Classical Dance SocietyLink opens in a new window. I was also a member of the Societies Committee at the Student Union.

Have you travelled at all during your time at Warwick?

During term time, I travelled to London and Oxford. Birmingham is also very close to Warwick and I spent some weekends there!

What are your plans when you graduate?

I have recently graduated and joined NielsenIQ, the world's biggest FMCG market research company.

What would you say to someone considering applying for Warwick?

I would say talk to the alumni! They are extremely helpful and will act as a great source of networking opportunities!

What one thing makes you happy about Warwick?

I would say the societies! With more than 200 societies, Warwick has something for everyone!
