How did you find out about Warwick?

Before shortlisting my 5 choices on the UCAS application I was checking various university ranking. I came across Warwick on the QS world rankings where it was highly ranked for the Management studies. After seeing the high rating I went to WBS website to check the details about the Management course. The thing that impressed me the most was the international community at Warwick and the flexibility which my course offered. After speaking to current students, I got a very positive response which further inclined me to pursue my studies at Warwick.

Did you consider studying anywhere else? What made you choose Warwick?

I had received offers from University of Exeter, Bath, Manchester, Durham and Toronto. Manchester was my back-up option on my UCAS. My sibling is currently in secondary school. Most of my friends from school had decided to purse their studies in Indian universities itself.

The flexibility which the degree offered and the percentage of international students combined with the high ranking were the main attractions. Warwick had a campus to offer which was personally something where I always imagined myself studying so it was a dream come true for me to have studied in such a place as compared to a city university.

Did you have any interactions with Warwick prior to starting your course?

Yes, in fact after receiving the offer I went to attend one of the offer-holder events in person on campus to check the whole university. I was given a proper tour of the university and and in depth understanding of my course from the WBS team.

How was your arrival? What were your first impressions of campus?

My parents had come to drop me to the university. The orientation was smooth and I got a chance to meet many new people in the first few days of the Welcome week. The campus seemed lit up with so many events happening all around campus.

What is the best thing about Warwick?

The opportunities. Just infinite. So many things to learn. From academic, to career, to skills, to culture, everything is there on offer. The level of exposure this university offers is unparalleled. If you want to learn something, I can guarantee Warwick has that to offer.

What is the worst thing?

The time. In a short span of 3/4 years of the university time you have so much to do it can get pretty nerve-wracking. Seeing students around you achieve great things can definitely put you under pressure.

How is your accommodation?

On campus accommodations are extremely good and perfect to provide a holistic student experience.

Are you a member of any societies?

I was the Deputy coordinator for Warwick India Forum, Head of Marketing for Warwick Indian Society, Warwick Congress, Enactus Warwick and Warwick Consulting Society.

Have you travelled at all during your time at Warwick?

Yes I travelled to Spain with my friends from Warwick, in the UK we went to Oxford, Cornwall and several trips to London/Birmingham.

What are your plans when you graduate?

I will be joining Accenture UK in April as a Business Integration and Arch Associate in April.

What would you say to someone considering applying for Warwick?

Make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. Step outside your comfort zone to try everything you would want to as this is the best place to learn and fail.

What one thing makes you happy about Warwick?

The friends and the memories which I have made in the past three years will last a lifetime and cherishing those moments with these friends will be the one thing that makes me the happiest.
