How did you find out about Warwick?

I heard about The University of Warwick while researching about the colleges in the UK. Warwick was one of the best colleges here.

Did you consider studying anywhere else? What made you choose Warwick?

I firmed The University of Warwick due to the outstanding faculty with vast experience, modern teaching methods, and brilliant placements of graduates. Warwick Law School is one of the finest law schools in the UK, renowned for its high-quality teaching, research, and contextual approach. At your prestigious institution, I felt that I can foster my analytical skills, logical thinking, and creative decision-making.

How did you feel to be awarded a scholarship?

It was like a dream come true to get the scholarship. I had worked very hard while I was applying for it and felt proud of myself. I was also grateful to get the opportunity to study in one of the best and most reputed universities in the UK.

Who was the first person you told when you received the news about your scholarship and how did they react?

My parents were the first people I told about receiving a scholarship. They were super proud of me and could not believe it.

How did you apply and did anyone help you with your application form and visa application?

I applied for my UK visa in India with the help of my parents. No, I did not face any issues in applying for the visa.

What was your first impression of Warwick when you first walked around campus?

I always wanted to have a campus college life and I felt like Warwick would provide me with that. The campus was huge and every corner was absolutely beautiful.

What is the best thing about Warwick?

The best thing about Warwick is its campus. It is absolutely beautiful and lively. Warwick has societies for almost everything possible and is welcoming of every culture.

What is the worst thing?

The students are not getting to have offline lectures due to covid but it is necessary and nothing can be done about it.

How is your accommodation?

All the accommodations are beautiful and provide a great deal of comfort at very affordable prices. The system of providing accommodations is very well organised and everyone gets to share their flat with like minded people. I live in Rootes which is an on-campus accommodation.

Are you a member of any societies? If so, what have you done with them?

I am a part of various societies, namely, the Law Society, the Warwick Indian Society, Women's Careers Society and Warwick Finance Society. I have gained a lot of knowledge by attending events and talks by each of these societies.

What are your plans when you graduate?

After my graduation, I hope to get a training contract in one of the best law firms, namely The magic and the silver circle law firms such as Allen and Overy and Clifford Chance.

What would you say to someone considering applying for an Undergraduate Global Excellence scholarship at Warwick, what would it be?

A piece of advice I would give to someone considering applying for an Undergraduate Global Excellence scholarship at Warwick would be to take their time and answer each and every question personally. It is better to start writing early and not on the last few days as that would give you more time to think and write.

What one thing makes you happy about Warwick?

The one thing that makes me happy about Warwick is the campus and campus college campus life.
