Summer School Ambassadors

Summer School Ambassadors

We have a wonderful team of ambassadors supporting students on the Pre-University Summer School programme this July. They are all current University of Warwick students and are therefore best placed to share the inside knowledge of studying at Warwick as well as the best places to explore on campus!

Get to know each of the ambassadors below before you join the programme!

Residential Welfare Leads

Madhu

Hi, my name is Madhu and I am a medical student here at Warwick. Before studying medicine, I studied law and spent some time working in government and spent some time in Japan too. Outside of studying I enjoy reading, playing video games, baking and trying new coffee shops around campus. I have a cat named lychee, who I found and adopted, so I spend a lot of my time looking after him and we even go for walks when the weather is nice! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone over the summer school period and I am excited for you to experience Warwick as I think it's truly a special place!

Lottie

Hi everyone! My name is Lottie and I am super excited to meet you all this summer. I graduated from Warwick in 2025 with a Politics and International Studies degree and am looking forward to coming back to campus. During university, I took part in an exchange year in Barcelona and more recently have been working in Bangkok, so I understand the excitement and nerves of settling into a new country and culture. I was also an active member of Trampolining and Latin and Ballroom societies, so am happy to answer any questions about Warwick's social and sports scene. See you all soon for what will be a fantastic 2 weeks!

Lead Ambassadors

James

Hi everyone, my name is James. I am a masters student studying International Relations, which is really interesting right now. I studied politics as my undergraduate degree at Newcastle University. I enjoy playing and watching football and am looking forward to the World Cup which will be going on during the programme, which will be fun. I have previously lived in Armenia for 3 months for a summer programme (during my undergraduate) so understand how it feels to adjust to new settings. I hope to share my experiences with anyone interested and get to know you all.

Gracie

Hi, I’m Gracie. I’m a first year medical student at Warwick, and before this I studied Psychology here as well. Outside of my course, I enjoy yoga, reading and seeing friends. Having already experienced starting university (and then starting on a new course!), I understand that it can feel like a bit step, so I’m happy to chat if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you in July!

Jimmy

Hello! My name is Jimmy, and I’ve just finished my second year studying Maths and Philosophy at Warwick. I grew up in a town called Rugby, very close to the University, but in the future, I’d love to go and study abroad (particularly in New York!). Outside my degree studies, I play the trumpet and cornet in the University’s Brass Band. I also enjoy long-distance running, watching rugby and cricket, and reading lots of books. I’m looking forward to meeting you all!

Sana

Hi everyone! I’m Sana and I’m a final-year law student, graduating only in a couple of weeks actually! I’m an international student from Dubai so I know what it feels like to fully uproot and move to a completely different place to try to build a new life for yourself, and I’d love to share those experiences with you guys. I love a good bed-rot, pub crawl, and live music. Uni has passed by so quickly and this is honestly a chance for me to also see it through brand new lenses again, so I hope you all enjoy this experience as much as I’ve loved being here all these years!

Night Duty Managers

Aishah

Hi everyone! My name is Aishah. Having completed my undergraduate law degree at Warwick, I’m currently an LLM post-graduate student at Warwick studying Advanced Legal Studies. Kai

Hi, I’m Kai! I’m currently in my first year of Graduate Entry Medicine at Warwick, after previously completing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and working in the NHS for a few years. I’m really passionate about supporting students who are considering a career in healthcare and helping make the journey feel a bit less daunting. Outside of studying, I swim regularly and enjoy keeping active, and I’m currently (ambitiously!) training towards a triathlon. Fun fact: I love cooking and baking, and I’m also attempting to learn British sign language (BSL) slowly but steady!

Ambassadors

Kaitlyn

Hi all! My name is Kaitlyn and I am a second year history student who often finds herself distracted by pretty old buildings, especially castles! When I’m not studying you’ll probably find me playing guitar, spending time in nature or trying to figure out a way to get to see yet another concert… I’m obsessed with any music that has a banjo! I’m excited to learn all about your interests when I get to meet you all in July!

Dani

My name is Dani, I come from Spain and I am a first year undergraduate student studying Management at Warwick Business School. I enjoy Model United Nations and Debating. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and hope we can engineer some fantastic memories together.

Meghan

Hi! My name is Megan and I am a second year Economics student. I am originally from China, and I have lived in Sweden, Spain, and Brazil. Lara

Hi everyone! My name is Lara and I have just finished my English Literature degree at Warwick. I am half Singaporean and half English, and I have grown up in London my whole life. When I'm not cooking or watching Netflix and Korean dramas, I enjoy playing badminton and singing. I also started rock climbing a couple years ago! I can't wait to meet you all and share my experiences of studying at Warwick with you, and I hope you have a great start to your summer holidays!

My favourite musical is indisputably Les Misérables, and my favourite books and movies are The Lord of the Rings trilogy. In my free time, I play piano, learn random things, for example, Morse Code, bake, and I've recently taken up crochet. Will

Hi, my names Will and I am currently at the end of my first year studying History and Sociology at Warwick! I also love playing and watching football and support my local side Wycombe Wanderers - who you might know as the club that Akinfenwa used to play for.
