Biodiversity Walk - birds

Have you ever noticed how many birds are still around during the colder months? Would you like to find out what species they are and learn more about them? Then join us on this Biodiversity Walk on Wednesday 11th November between 12:00-13:00 for a leisurely stroll in the fresh air.

The activity will entail walking on a path, identifying and recording all bird species we see and hear. You don't need to have experience with bird ID, our walk lead/s will point out the species they see. If you'd like to give it a go yourself, useful species ID apps include iNaturalist, Merlin Bird ID and BirdNET - we are happy to explain the use of any of these apps during the walk. Please bring binoculars if you have them.

Please wear suitable shoes as it may be muddy, and dress according to the weather. Open to all staff and students.

Meeting point is TBC.

Spaces are limited so sign-up is essential.

Please ensure you read the Risk AssessmentLink opens in a new window prior to attending the event.

We are pleased to confirm that students can earn a point towards the Warwick AwardLink opens in a new window by attending two of our biodiversity-related activities.

This form is closed as the event is fully booked. If you wish to be added to a waiting list please email sustainability@warwick.ac.uk, and we will contact you if a space becomes available.
