Introduction to Sustainability

At Warwick, we are tackling global sustainability in many different ways. What is your place in that journey and how can you support the protection of our planet?

Events Calendar

We organise regular sustainability events that are open to both staff and students. These events are a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn more about sustainability and improve your wellbeing through activities such as biodiversity walks.

Sustainable Events Toolkit

Organise events in a more sustainable way can reduce costs and time, drive change beyond the event itself, enhance the experience for your participants, and benefit the environment.

Warwick Green Rewards

Green Rewards is an online web platform and app where you log your sustainable actions—like active travel, recycling, and sustainable shopping—and earn Green Points as a result.

There are plenty of activities and projects you can get involved in as a Student Green Champion!

Staff Green Champion Network

Our network of Green Champions help make our University environment and community a greener, healthier, happier place to live, work and study.

Sustainable Transport

We understand that getting to and from campus efficiently and sustainably is essential for our students, staff and visitors. Whether you're a seasoned commuter or exploring new sustainable transportation options, you'll find everything here to help you navigate your campus journey.

University and SU Environmental Sustainability Fund

Got an idea that could make our campus more sustainable? We’re inviting students and staff to apply for funding to support projects that reduce environmental impact, inspire behaviour change, and help create a more sustainable Warwick.

Community Food

Our community food initiatives bring people together around sharing, growing, and reducing food waste. From the Community Fridge, where surplus food is freely available for everyone, to the campus allotment, where students and staff can get hands-on with growing their own produce, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Sustainable Student Societies and Groups

Looking to connect with people who care about sustainability? We’ve brought together all the sustainability-focused groups and societies at Warwick in one place, so it’s easier than ever to find your community.
