Thank you to everyone who got involved in the Big Hog Litter Pick Challenge, led by Hedgehog Friendly Campus, with us! This competition ran from the 19th of September to the 30th of November, 2023. In total, 750 bags of litter were collected across the country by 1400 volunteers. This was a great effort by everyone taking part, including universities, colleges and secondary schools and primary schools!

We are pleased to announce that we came in second place out of all of the Universities that took part across the country – which is brilliant! In total at the University of Warwick, 88 volunteers collected 77 bags of litter. Well done to all of those who took part, in either a Warwick Wombles Litter Pick or a Warwick Volunteers Litter Pick with Friends of Canley Green Spaces!
