As the weather turns colder, building heating systems are coming online. We heat over 45,000 rooms and need your help to keep them at a comfortable temperature. If some areas feel too warm and you see radiator valves are set very high, please turn them down a notch. Please don't open windows as the cooler air will make the radiators try even harder to heat the room and waste energy! Turning down by 1°C can reduce energy, carbon and costs related to heating by around 7%. However, opening a window while the heating it still on can have a wasteful impact of up to 40%!
