Want to see science in action, out of the classroom and in the real world?

We offer the opportunity to join us on an all-expenses paid, 4 day trip to the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), a world leading science research facility in Grenoble, France.

This amazing trip offers tours of the facilities, the opportunity to meet amazing scientists who live and work in Grenoble and also a little bit of sight seeing in this beautiful French city.

There are sixteen places available, applications are welcome from Year 12 UK Physics and STEM students who identify as female.

The entry process usually involves researching a scientist of our choosing, about how findings from XMaS can be useful for society and why coming on the trip would be a good thing.
