Technology Volunteers offers coding lessons to primary school pupils across Coventry. Volunteers do not require any coding experience as training is provided.
Volunteering Opportunities
Due to the coronavirus, in-person school sessions are currently on hold, however training will go ahead remotely.
Technology Volunteers currently focus on teaching Scratch. We are looking into how we can deliver online lessons to schools in term 2.
Location and Travel
Due to the coronavirus, volunteers will not need to travel.

Time Commitment
Term 1
Training sessions via Microsoft Teams will be held every week from weeks 2-9. Each session will take one hour.
Term 2
We are looking into how we can deliver online lessons to schools in term 2. Subject to confirmation from the schools we work with, sessions will be held weekly and will last around 2 hours but volunteers will be able to attend as many or as few sessions as they want.
Requirements
We welcome people from all degree disciplines and no existing coding skills are required.
