Coventry-born Kare Adenegan is already a medal winning Paralympian, with her performance at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games capturing the hearts of the nation.

University of Warwick Recognises Outstanding Contributions with Honorary Degrees
The University of Warwick has announced the recipients of its honorary degrees for the summer 2024 graduation ceremonies. The July recipients include Major General Tim Hodgetts from our region who will receive an Honorary Doctor of Science for his pioneering work in emergency and disaster medicine, which has served communities at all levels. As the Surgeon General for the UK Armed Forces and Deputy Lieutenant of the West Midlands, Tim has made significant contributions to his field.
