Take part in the QS Surveys

The QS World University Rankings is one of the most influential global league tables, assessing more than 1,500 higher education institutions each year. Rankings are based on data from a range of surveys, combined with additional performance indicators, to determine each university’s position.

Key indicators include an academic reputation survey and an employer reputation survey, together accounting for approximately 45% of the overall rankings. By taking part in the QS reputation surveys, you can help shape how institutions are perceived by prospective students and peers across the world.

How you can support

Please check the criteria to take part in the QS Surveys below.

Academic surveys

If you are a non-Warwick academic involved in academic research or teaching at a higher education or research institution, you can take part in the QS Academic Survey.

Employer surveys

If you are involved in hiring decisions within your organisation (excluding higher education and research institutions), you can take part in the QS Employer Survey.

Next steps

QS will contact selected participants with an invitation to participate in the annual QS Global Reputation Survey, along with a maximum of three reminders.

The resulting data will be used in aggregate form only. QS will not contact you for any other reason, or for more than two editions of their annual survey, without supplementary or separate consent. Your responses will be combined with those of many others around the world to form academic reputation indicators used in the QS World University Rankings at global, regional, subject and programme levels where relevant. Further information can be found on the QS website.
