Alice Richmond is currently studying MA English Literature: her research interests include the body, emotion, and Shakespeare. Her background includes creative writing and she has performed her work at BBC Contains Strong Language and Verve Poetry Festival. Her creative interests are also based around the body and emotion.

About the Project

This monologue and critical commentary function as a pair, hoping to demonstrate the experience of people with functional neurological disorder. The monologue details a fictional character affected and the critical commentary explores the creative decisions made during its writing. This work was informed by scientific research and stories from survivors.
