British Black and Asian Shakespeare

BBAS is setting out to bring together the first full account of British Black and Asian Shakespeare, to discover what Shakespeare has come to mean in multicultural Britain's rich and diverse theatre.
 
It's an account that needs to build on your memories of Shakespeare productions that you've seen, of people you know who have contributed and taken part in making that history - or your story of how you've been involved.

Hello BBA Shakespeare - I love what you’re doing in documenting BAME productions and actors. I’m emailing you from Egypt, I’m performing in Hamlet at the moment on a two year tour to every single country (hopefully 205 in total) with Shakespeare’s Globe. We’re 8 months into the tour, and on our 67th country right now. One of the things that I’m most proud of is that our company of actors is very multicultural, and it’s great to be part of a company whose heritages span the world.
