Booking Confirmation and Information

The Masculine Worlds of Race and Power: Objects, Practices and Emotions in Colonial and Post-Colonial Societies in the Long Nineteenth Century

The information here is for delegates who have registered to attend this event.

Thank you for registering to attend The Masculine Worlds of Race and Power: Objects, Practices and Emotions in Colonial and Post-Colonial Societies in the Long Nineteenth Century to be held at the University of Warwick on Saturday 5th May 2018.

Registration with tea and coffee will be from 09.30 - 10.00 in the Wolfson Research Exchange on the 3rd Floor of the Library on Central Campus.

How to find the Wolfson Research Exchange

A conference helper will be on hand at the Welcome Point inside the library to direct you to the WRE.

A provisional programme will be posted here.

Delegates are advised to check back regularly in case there are changes to the programme, starting time or venue.

Getting to the University of Warwick

It is worth pointing out to people who are visiting for the first time that the UOW is not actually in Warwick. Coventry is the nearest mainline station. Information about travelling to campus can be found here.

Accommodation

It is up to delegates to arrange their own accommodation if needed. There are a range of options on campus that can be booked here.

Otherwise there are plenty of hotels and B&Bs in Coventry(nearest), Earlsdon and Kenilworth.
