With graduation for many of our students just around the corner (Monday 22^nd July 2024), we are pleased to welcome back one of our GSD alumni as a keynote speaker for the 2024 summer graduation ceremony.

Fred Betley was part of our first ever cohort of GSD students following our degree’s launch in 2016, graduating with a BASc in Sociology and Global Sustainable Development. He currently works as the Managing Director for FutureTracker – a London-based sustainability software company that provides industry-leading tools for reducing corporate emissions.

 

Fred commented:

"I’m excited to be coming back to Warwick to congratulate the graduates and encourage this group of change-makers to make the most of their skills. The world will benefit greatly from their passion and imagination, so I’m honoured to be a small part of that journey."

The GSD graduation ceremony will be held on 22nd July at 11am in Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre. This will be followed by a celebration lunch at 12:30-3pm, where student awards will also be presented.
