Our involvement at COP 29
Professor Elena Korosteleva, Director of IGSD and Chair of Sustainability Spotlight, is serving on the COP 29 Scientific Council, contributing to key global discussions on climate governance and sustainability. This prestigious role places Warwick at the forefront of shaping international climate policy.
In addition to Professor Korosteleva’s involvement, Warwick is leading an exciting initiative—the Training Academy for Sustainable Futures—focused on Just Transitions, one of the core themes of COP 29 this year. This academy provides crucial training and engagement opportunities for Early Career Researchers, aligning with the global shift towards equitable and inclusive climate action.
