Senior Departmental Administrator

Julia's main responsibility is to provide a comprehensive administrative service for staff and students through the development and delivery of systems and procedures which meet University requirements and ensure the smooth running of the Liberal Arts degree. This includes working with the department's Interdisciplinary Programmes' Officer to maintain accurate student records of attendance and progression, advise students on the University’s procedures regarding special circumstances, examination and assessment issues and processes such as temporary withdrawal, operate student feedback mechanisms and deal with module choices and timetabling queries. Julia provides support for the student recruitment and induction processes and for the Year Abroad option.

In addition, Julia has responsibilities in relation to the strategic direction and financial operations of the School for Cross-faculty Studies.
