Transcript: Offer Holder Open Days
Emily Bagshaw >> I attended an Offer Holder Open Day at the University of Warwick because I wanted to see not only what the University was like, but what the course was like and what the lecturers were like.
How did you feel about your Offer Holder Open Day experience?
Emily Bagshaw >> The Offer Holder Open Day experience for me was enlightening. I got to see a whole other side of the University that I didn’t see online, and I got to meet people and feel comfortable straight away.
Who did you encounter which made your experience positive?
Emily Bagshaw >> I met the course director, who spoke to us personally. We got to speak to each of the individual lecturers and get a better feel for the course and it made me feel at home instantly.
What was your favourite part of the day?
Emily Bagshaw >> My favourite part of the day was actually getting to meet other people who’d applied for the course with me. We all discussed our application process and what made us want to go to Warwick.
What were your expectations? Did the Offer Holder Open Day meet these?
Emily Bagshaw >> My expectations were that it was going to be a simple day: that I’d go, attend, speak to a few people, and then leave. But, I felt that Warwick exceeded my expectations in that I felt comfortable, I didn’t feel like I was going to this ‘new’ place, I felt like I belonged there. Even my Mum said at the end of the day “I can see you going here.”
