The role of Europe in Global Challenges: Climate change and Sustainable Development
This is a research network funded by UACES (Academic Association for Contemporary European Studies), aiming to bring together researchers and practitioners at different stages of their careers, interested in different aspects of the topic.
We receive funding up to January 2024, with the aim to help with the organisation of workshops and attendance to the UACES Annual Conference. The connections established during the events encourage participation in other research projects and collaboration in different publications.
We also host sessions for PhD students and early career researchers to provide advice on career progression. So far two events have taken place. If the pandemic allows it, a third workshop will take place in ESSCA, Angers (France) in June 2022. Information about events and progress can be found here.
We have successfully published a Special Issue in The International Spectator Journal, with papers presented during the first workshop.
