Stream is the video recording and streaming system built into Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft products.

When you record a Teams meeting it is saved into Stream (this process is likely to change as Microsoft are redeveloping Stream).

Stream can add automatically generated captions and transcripts, which can then be edited. It does not accurately translate technical or non-English terms.

Students can use Stream to record their own individual or group presentations.

Use Stream to record lectures given in Teams. You might consider Echo 360 as an alternative way to record and stream lectures.
