Authentic Assessment Strategies and On-line Assessment

In this WIHEA Masterclass on Authentic assessments and online learning, Associate Professor Basia Diug showcased several authentic assessment strategies including Whack-a-mole report and video assessment and an online assessment called the Sunnyville report.

The workshop featured the co-design of authentic assessments by exploring questions such as:

• How would an authentic assessment look like in your discipline?

• What is the task, skills developed and mode of delivery?

• Who could you engage and how feasible is it

Associate Professor Basia Diug is the Head of Undergraduate Courses and the Head (Quality and Innovation) of the Medical Education Research and Quality (MERQ) unit at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. She joined the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM) in 2006.
