We are delighted to share the wonderful news that the following WIHEA Fellows and Alumni have been successful in the latest promotion round this year.

WIHEA Fellows are recruited annually between May to July, they are selected from nominations based on their educational leadership, so it is no surprise that seven academic WIHEA Fellows and Alumni Fellows were recognised. As always, working with their home departments, WIHEA will offer Fellows who are promoted to Professor the chance to give an Inaugural Lecture.

 

Nicholas Jackson (Warwick Mathematics Institute) - Promoted to Senior Teaching Fellow

Claire Lucas (School of Engineering) – Promoted to Reader

Troy McConachy (Applied Linguistics) – Promoted to Associate Professor

Michael Pounds (Physics) – Promoted to Associate Professor

Elena Riva (IATL) – Promoted to Associate Professor

Olanrewaju Sorinola (WMS) – Promoted to Professor

Ian Tuersley (WMG) – Promoted to Professor
