We're delighted to share that WIHEA Fellow Dr Tom Ritchie has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to Elon University, North Carolina from August 2025 to May 2026.

Tom will be bringing his passion and experience from the 'We are Chemistry' programme and the WIHEA Building Belonging Learning Circle to Elon's campus and Chemistry Department, working on an exciting project focused on creating more equitable chemistry classrooms through the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), innovative teaching methods, and integrating AI tools to enhance student belonging and success.
"The support and collaboration opportunities provided by WIHEA staff and fellows have been truly invaluable," Tom said. "Their support has helped me develop and grow as an educator, giving me the confidence to pursue this Fulbright opportunity and take my work to an international stage."
