The Tempest: Workshop
Shakespeare from Page to Stage to Page are workshopping their newly adapted version of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest on Tuesday 17th March in the Capital Centre. They’re looking for 10-15 people for a read-through of the current script and short movement & character workshop.
The adaptation is far from the original concept; set on an oilrig it deals predominantly with the clash of Old and New power, the elemental forces of storm and sea, and the relationships between Miranda, Prospero and Caliban.
There is also a possibility for the work to be showcased in the New Works Festival in April.
The workshop will take place 10-12pm, on the Tuesday morning in the Capital Centre Rehearsal Room.
If you would be interested in taking part, please email sarah.e.green@warwick.ac.uk for further details.
