Spring Term
During the Spring Term The CAPITAL Centre will be supporting a student performance project by open submission.
The deadline for submissions is Sunday 13th December for a performance slot over the weekend of 27th/28th February (end of week 7).
We invite submissions from individuals and groups from any area of the University. Project proposals are expected to demonstrate an active connection between student drama and the curriculum, they should have an emphasis on learning experiences and interdisciplinarity. We are looking for proposals that would engage with the idea of learning through performance.
Proposals should include the following:
- Title and brief desciption
- Preferred rehearsal schedule
- Budget
- Educational rationale
Applicants must also include an up to date Curriculum Vitae indicating relevant theatrical experience.
All productions are expected to have an academic mentor who should be named in applications. The mentor will provide academic support for the production and liaise with the group on the learning outcomes of the project. All applications must have a named mentor in order to to be considered.
Candidates should also be prepared to attend a short interview at The CAPITAL Centre if neccessary.
For further information on the application process, contact CAPITAL Office Manager (h.j.neal@warwick.ac.uk).
