International Interdisciplinary Research Projects 2026

Support to develop new international research led by and grounded in the humanities and/or social sciences, to further understanding of transnational and planetary challenges. Genuinely productive and integral interdisciplinarity is a requirement, with the expectation that this will involve collaboration across disciplines.
Projects should focus on one of the following themes:
•Earth system governance
•Digital and other transformative technologies
•Global health
•Outer space governance

The involvement of co-applicants based overseas is required, and there must be collaboration across SHAPE and STEM disciplines in the team.

Offers up to £375k FEC for projects of up to 2 years duration.

International Writing Workshops 2025 *

The Writing Workshops are to support early career researchers in developing countries, working to stimulate professional networks, develop research partnerships, encourage skills development, provide advice on career development, and promote the uptake of research emanating from developing countries.
Inviting proposals for Writing Workshops in Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Philippines, South Africa, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam and/or Least Developed Countries.

UKRI - Knowledge Transfer Partnership: 2025 to 2026 round three

This funding competition is designed to support innovation by fostering collaboration between UK businesses (or not-for-profit organisations) and academic partners.
They are designed to help businesses to innovate, develop, grow and become more productive by employing academic expertise that they do not have in-house.
The project can focus on any type of innovation in any sector, but it must aim to deliver results that businesses would not otherwise be able to achieve.

RPSC Highlight Notice: Children's Social Care
