This workshop is organized to celebrate Mike Paterson's numerous contributions to theoretical computer science on the occasion of his 75th birthday. Mike has been a leading figure in the research of theoretical computer science for nearly 50 years and he has been affiliated with the University of Warwick since 1971. Mike has been a Fellow of the Royal Society since 2001. His research achievements have also been recognized by numerous prizes, including the Dijkstra Prize in 2001, the EATCS Award in 2006 and the Lester R. Ford Award in 2010.
The workshop will consist of lectures by international experts on topics related to Mike's many contributions to computer science. Further information including the detailed programme of the workshop will be made available here in due course.
All talks will be in the room MS.02 in the Zeeman building (Mathematics).

This workshop will be preceded by the 10 Year Anniversary DIMAP Workshop, which is held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Centre for Discrete Mathematics and its Applications (DIMAP) at the University of Warwick.
