3.1 Outline your proposal
Share your vision and plan for your project. What do you want to do, why do you want to do it and what effect or impact would your project have if it is funded? This information is crucial for the review panel to judge the project's feasibility, so consider the practicality of each stage and how long it will take.
Many student projects involve students other than the lead applicant, and we encourage co-creation within student-led projects where possible. If you expect to engage with other students as part of the project, explain your plans here including what you want to achieve.
Please tell us how you plan to share project learning and outcomes with IATL and the wider Warwick community.
Present a detailed timeline for your proposed project including key actions, activities and milestones. Ensure the timeline matches the start and end dates input above in section 2, and that the timeline includes your plans for project evaluation/reflection, dissemination and ethical review (if required). Please also ensure you allow sufficient time for panel review and funding processing (see Project Support website for details) before you plan to start the project.
If you would like support from IATL and if we are able to provide this, please tell us what you would find helpful. Support we are typically able to provide includes:
Provide a detailed budget with estimated timescales for spending. Ensure you review Project funding and costs information before applying.
Explain here what other funding you have applied for or plan to apply for to cover project costs. Include details of these other funding sources and their associated timing. Ensure you specify what part of your project IATL funding would support, and what would be covered by other source(s). Please also explain what would happen if, despite your efforts, you have a shortfall in your project budget. See Project funding and costs for some other potential funding sources.
Statement of Ethics
IATL requires that you follow the relevant code of ethics.
You can find further information about ethical approval and when it is required here: Do I need ethical approval? | Research at Warwick
If your project would require ethical approval and your application is successful, we will advise about next steps and which process to use to apply for ethical approval.
All applications require supporting statement(s) for the lead applicant, received by the deadline.
Requirements depend on whether the lead applicant is an undergraduate, Masters or PhD student - see approvals information on the Project Support webpage.
If you cannot upload your material here, email material to us by the deadline.
