Creating Digital Futures
Creating Digital Futures will offer students the opportunity to work in diverse interdisciplinary teams in response to a digital innovation competition brief set by Warwick’s Creative Features incubator.
Students will be invited to submit a proposal on the topic of “Createch” (e.g. interactive entertainment, games and gamification,…) deployed towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Submissions will be judged based on the following success criteria: Imaginative, Viable, Scalable
Teams of successful ideas will receive access to 1.Mill Street in the cohort “1 April – 30 September” of the same year (incubator place worth up to £10,000 non-monetary, see the registration page) and, additionally, an award of up to £5,000 subject to submitting a detailed financial budget, with expenses being approved, and regularly checked, by a coach assigned to the project.
Participating in this competition will allow students to prepare for more substantial projects, for example, those set regularly by Microsoft, Google, Finastra etc., e.g., https://www.finastra.com/press-media/finastra-names-hack-future-4-winners
