Attendees at the Posters in Parliament 2024 event are invited to join an optional tour of the House of Lords, Central Lobby, St Stephen’s Hall and Westminster Hall. These 75 minute tours will depart from the College Green entrance to the House of Commons. Please note that tour participants will need to enter airport style security at the College Green entrance (please allow around 30 minutes for this).

What does the tour cover?

During this 75-minute tour, your guide will:

• explain the work of UK Parliament and its relevance today
• outline how the working spaces you visit on the tour are used
• set out ways you can get involved and engage with the democratic process
• highlight some of the dramatic history of the Palace of Westminster

Joining the tour

Guests with a place on a tour should enter via the Cromwell Green Visitors Entrance (marked No. 8 on the map) and make their way through into Westminster Hall where they will find the Tours Co-ordinator's desk.

At the end of the tour, guests will exit via Carriage Gates (marked no. 6).

Please use the links above to sign up to one of the tours. Spaces are capped at 25 per tour and so if there are no spaces, please try another time. Further detailed joining instructions, information about security processes and a ticket to show to the tour guide will be sent to you closer to the time. Places are extremely limited and so please contact Professor Jane Bryan on jane.bryan@warwick.ac.uk if you are no longer able to take your place on the tour.

Although no food or drink is allowed during the tour, the tour will end near to the Jubilee cafe and gift shop, off Westminster Hall.

Please note that the tour ends around a two minute walk from the location of the Posters in Parliament exhibition. You will need to enter security again before entering the Posters in Parliament exhibition (please allow a further 30 minutes for this).
