I took the risk of selecting this module due to its intriguing nature. It was the right decision. I’ve learnt so much about the different forms of identity and how to take an interdisciplinary approach.

About the Project

My assignment took quite a personal perspective, as I was diagnosed later in life it is not information I easily share with others. This piece documents my emotions and how I struggled to re-identify myself and what it meant, looking at different perspectives and battling whether it meant I had changed, or if it was simply an explanation for the series of events in my life. I started to question my life and started the continuous rumination of “what if’s,” but over time, I’ve learnt to embrace it as an explanation rather than a consequence.
