At IATL, we offer an enterprise-infused curriculum designed to help you think creatively and innovate. By combining knowledge from multiple disciplines, our programmes encourage you to explore new ideas, tackle complex challenges, and develop innovative solutions.

We support you in stepping outside your comfort zone, embracing the uncertainties of innovation, and turning your ideas into real-world outcomes.

With IATL’s enterprise-infused curriculum, you will gain the practical skills, experience, and support you need to make an impact and turn your vision into reality.

This funding helps you bring your ideas to life, whether that’s launching a start-up, developing a community initiative, or pursuing another exciting project.

The IATL's Den

Starting this academic year, IATL has introduced The IATL's Den, an innovative initiative designed to deepen the integration of enterprise into the student learning experience. This program aims to support IATL students in advancing their entrepreneurial ideas to the next level.

Who can apply?

The IATL's Den provides a platform for two groups of students to apply for funding and support:

· Current students who have taken/are taking an IATL moduleLink opens in a new window and want to transform their enterprise learning into reality—whether you have already taken the first step as part of an assessment (such as designing a new game, shaping an idea for a social enterprise, or developing a new product), or you are now thinking about how to apply your learning outside of the module.

· Current students who have already received funding from IATLLink opens in a new window for their enterprise ideas and wish to take their projects further.

How does it work?

Students who apply for The IATL’s Den will have the chance to pitch their enterprise ideas for funding and resources. Applications open in January 2025 and close in March 2025 – Exact Dates TBC.

• All IATL students who apply will have the opportunity to receive guidance and support from both IATL and Warwick EnterpriseLink opens in a new window. Before applying, participants will receive support to prepare their applications and assistance in developing and refining their enterprise ideas.

• Successful applicants will present their ideas at a Dragon's Den-style event on June 3, 2025. Prior to the event, they will receive comprehensive support, including guidance on pitch preparation, storytelling techniques, and presentation delivery.

The IATL’s Den event will also offer students valuable networking opportunities with Innovation FellowsLink opens in a new window, Warwick alumni, and industry experts.

The most promising pitches will secure funding up to £3000 and also receive post-award support by Warwick EnterpriseLink opens in a new window, including personalised one-to-one coaching to further develop and implement their ideas. More details about the application process and post-award benefits will be shared in due course.
