Welcome Information

In these pages, you will find information that will help to ease your transition into the MIBTP programme. Please read the information carefully, and remember to check back regularly as more details will be uploaded to the site as they become relevant. You can access the various pages of the welcome site via the buttons on the left.

Induction Week

The Induction will take place from Monday 29th September to Thursday 2nd October (inclusive).

• A full week's induction schedule will be put together for you and shared before you arrive at Warwick.
• All MIBTP students will be issued with a 13-inch MacBook Air. We strongly advise that you purchase a bag or sleeve to protect the machine from damage. The MacBook must be returned to Warwick at the end of your studentship.

Pre-Arrival

All students will be attending Induction and Term 1 training at the University of Warwick, and therefore must enrol at Warwick prior to Induction Week. You will not be able to gain access to University of Warwick buildings, IT software or be issued with your MacBook if you have not enrolled.

Your home university will contact you directly about your registration at your home university.

All students will also register at Aston, Birmingham, Coventry, Harper Adams and Leicester to allow for easier connectivity when attending these universities for training and cohort events throughout the studentships. You will receive further information about registering at partner universities during Induction Week.

Please ensure that the MIBTP team has a current email address for you; if using an UG university email address, please update your contact details before this expires.

From induction week, all contact from the MIBTP team will be made via your Warwick email address. If this is not your first choice of email address, please ensure that a forward is set up from your Warwick address to avoid missing any important communication.
