Mohsin Bilal
Mohsin Bilal is a Senior Research Fellow (Data Scientist) in the PathLAKE centre of excellence on AI in pathology at the University of Warwick. Before joining PathLAKE, Mohsin was Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Tissue Image Analytics (TIA) lab at Warwick for one year, working on predicting molecular pathways and genetic alterations to discover associated differential histology in colorectal cancer. Prior to the postdoctoral fellowship, Mohsin worked at the Computer Science Department, Umm Al-Qura University, Saudia Arabia as a faculty member. Besides teaching and research at UQU, Mohsinwas also participating in departmental committees for quality assurance and leading the department to prepare for the evaluation cycle 2018-19 of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). He has done his Ph.D. in Computing from the National University of Computer and Emerging Science, Pakistan working on designing computational intelligence techniques for reconstructing spatially variant degraded images. Mohsin has research interests in developing cutting-edge AI solutions to early diagnosis and personalised treatment of cancer.
