XMaS will be hosting a Women in Physics evening on Wednesday 15th April 2026, with speakers from the University of Warwick.
The event will take place online via Microsoft Teams from 6pm till 7pm. Once you have signed-up, an invitation will be sent out to you with a link to join the meeting. The event will also be recorded and a link to access this will be sent out following the event.
The opportunity is for year 12 female students to get an insight into what it is like to be a woman in STEM, what journeys our speakers took to get to where they are now, and what their careers look like day to day! Sign up to attend now!

Impact Evaluation of ESRF
STFC appointed Technopolis to undertake an evaluation that would measure and demonstrate the impacts from the UK’s involvement in ESRF during the period 2011-2020. The report details the wider impact of the ESRF to the UK science community and includes contributions made by XMaS.
