Student Opportunity - The New Healthcare student

I hope you are well, and that everyone within the department has had a restful festive period!

In July 2020, I launched The New Healthcare Student, a student-run and student-led publication, dedicated to supporting the next generation of students within the HealthTech space. The New Healthcare Student is a place to share resources for additional learning, keep students up to date with a range of developments in the sector, and provide links between the often confusing worlds of industry, academia, and clinical practice. Since our launch, we have posted articles every two weeks that cover a range of HealthTech topics - as well as pieces about student development. Additionally, we are proud to curate a calendar of events relevant to students in HealthTech, with sources from over 20 organisations.

As we move into 2021, however, things are changing at The New Healthcare Student, and we are now recruiting students to join our team. Perhaps most interestingly, we are not recruiting for any particular role, but are instead asking for enthusiastic, passionate, and outspoken students to support our mission. If a student wants to join us in writing articles, we would love them to join us. Alternatively, if students wish to create other forms of content, or carve out their own role, they will be more than welcome at The New Healthcare Student.
