Testing the W10
On Wednesday 3rd November the new Warwick Racing took the previous formula student car to Bruntingthorpe proving ground. This gave the team a valuable insight into the design of the W10 and how it can be improved and build upon for the WR1.

Formula Student Competition News
Just over a month ago, the Warwick Formula Student team had the most successful performance at the IMechE Formula Student competition that Warwick has seen. After 9 years of competing the WFS team, in the W10, completed all events, came 7th in the UK and 22nd overall. Against over 80 other universities, many of whom have larger teams and budgets, this was the high level of success the team had worked so hard for........
Next step: Paint!
The chassis is now in its final phase of welding with the final beads to secure the bracketry happening today. The frame will then be cleaned up ready for painting in graphite grey-sliver over the next few days. Then the floor and firewall will go in towards the end of the week.
We are also moving our workshop over to the IMC over the weekend which will disrupt our progress slightly but also give us a new base to work from.
