Athena SWAN award success
The School of Engineering is delighted to announce that we have been awarded Athena SWAN Bronze status, recognising our commitment to advancing women's careers in STEMM academia.
This award recognises that in addition to institution-wide policies the department has identified particular challenges and is planning activities to address these in the future.
Hosted by the Royal Society of Edinburgh on Thursday 6 June, the ceremony included a speech by the patron of Athena SWAN, Professor Dame Julia Higgins, who presented the School with its award.
